"Pedal Power Prevails: Dubai Schools Games Cycling Championships Crowns Young Champions"

Dubai, March 3, 2024 - The first week of March witnessed an exhilarating display of talent and determination as young cyclists from schools across Dubai competed in the Dubai Schools Games Cycling Championships. Hosted at the prestigious Dubai Expo City and organized in collaboration with the UAE Cycling Federation, the event saw spirited competition and moments of triumph.

Sponsored by leading names such as talabat, Al Marai, Mai Dubai and Go Sport, with Dubai Expo City as the venue partner and the UAE Cycling Federation as the technical partner, the championship attracted participants from various age groups, showcasing their skills in both mountain and road biking categories.

In the age group of 12-13, Zarwa M from The English College emerged victorious in the Girls' Mountain Bike category, while Ayaan Ajit from The Winchester School, JA clinched the top spot in the Boys' Mountain Bike event. Kashvi K from Jumeirah English Speaking School dominated the Girls' Road Bike category, with Martin N from Nord Anglia International School triumphing in the Boys' Road Bike race.

In the 14-15 age group, Vaisheshika of GEMS Modern Academy showcased exceptional prowess to claim the Girls' Mountain Bike title, while Arystan N from Dubai British School, JP secured victory in the Boys' Mountain Bike competition. Elisa M from North London Collegiate School stood out in the Girls' Road Bike event, while Akash K from The Indian High School emerged as the champion in the Boys' Road Bike race.

The 16-17 age group witnessed intense battles, with Lennon D of Cambridge International School emerging as the standout performer. In the Boys' Road Bike category, Hemaya Boys School dominated the podium, with M Ghassan securing the first position, followed by M Yaser and Ahmed NA.

The winners not only demonstrated exceptional skill but also displayed the values of sportsmanship and resilience, inspiring their peers and garnering applause from spectators.
